A: Yes, when waxing the vehicle, some wax may build up along the film edges. This can easily be removed when dry with a soft cloth, such as a 3M™ High Performance Cloth. Do not use any waxes containing dyes or not recommended for urethanes. Abrasive polishes and/or rubbing compounds are not to be used.

Q: What products does 3M recommend to best maintain Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film?
A: 3M makes a variety of products to help maintain the beauty of your vehicle. 3M™ Car Wash Soap (3M Part #39000), 3M™ Show Car Paste Wax (3M Part #39526 and 3M™ Perfect-It Show Car Liquid Wax (3M Part #39026).  Q: What is different about 3M Color Stable window tint compared to other tints?
A: 3M Color Stable is a uniquely constructed window tint that will offer heat rejection, color match most OEM tint, not interfere with embedded electronics, and never turn purple, and has a lifetime guarantee. Summer is right around the corner and along with summer usually comes the driving vacation. Have any of us ever gotten sunburned while driving in the car? I know I have. As you know, sunscreen is often rated on an SPF or Sun Protection Factor scale. Yet one more reason to buy 3M(TM) Scotchtint(TM) automotive window films is to help protect your skin from overexposure to sunlight.

Clear 3mm glass SPF = 10.9
Film SPF
CS5 3300
CS20 750
CS35 250
CS50 200

Yes, installing CS35 on a vehicle is equivalent to an SPF of 250! The highest value I have found for sunscreen is SPF45.
